I've just upgraded to a Flickr Pro account myself, as part of the whole "use useful things more, abandon the rest" policy.

I'm similarly paranoid about mentioning my Facebook account here, because of its fondness for real names (although there's one friend on my Facebook friends list who has ignored that and uses an unreal name instead)

"...a quick Facebook poke" What? For the first time ever I feel I'm missing it out and have got totally the wrong end of the stick about Facebook.

I have a dead-ish Myspace profile and a Flickr Pro account that gets a fair amount of use but mainly because it's handy for hosting images for the blog. My partner has recently got into Facebook and I think it's somewhere between a time sink and an opportunity to keep in better touch with almost out of contact uni friends. I avoid it because I'm paranoid about having my real name plastered all over the internet.

I'm glad Dimitra mentioned blogger and German because I thought I'd selected a wrong option somewhere and have been pulling my hair out trying to work out how to put it right. Hey ho!

It must be trendy to use foreign languages. Blogger seems to be quite fond of German lately.

Anyway, funnily enough Alistair reached a similar conclusion about Last.fm and Flickr a while ago.

And let's see you sticking to that resolution to become less of an ignorant git, shall we?

As I wrote that post, Last.FM decided to send me an email about music I might like. In, erm, Italian. I think they may be slightly confused.

It's more silent litter for me.
I really only use last.fm and flickr, and myspace for the bands and facebook because everyone seems to be on there.
